Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, we will greet you and welcome you to our office. We will request that you complete or submit already completed new patient forms. This paperwork provides us with general information about yourself, your condition, and insurance coverage you would like to use.

Consultation

Next, you have a consultation with Dr. Christman. You discuss your concerns and possible treatments. The purpose of the first visit is for the doctor to learn about you, your condition, and to determine how chiropractic care may help your situation.

Examination

After the consultation, the doctor performs a complete chiropractic examination. During this exam, he tests your reflexes, range of motion, as well as other neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical examinations. All of this is performed with your consent.

Report of Findings

Once all the information is gathered and exams have been performed, the doctor talks to you about his recommendations and a possible treatment plan. He determines and tells you if you have a condition that requires care from other providers.

Treatment

At the end of the first appointment, patients are provided with treatment. This could include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies. Dr. Christman encourages communication and wants you to be open about the style of treatment with which you are most comfortable.

Follow Up

Dr. Christman will give his recommendation on a follow up visit along with a treatment plan. Every patient responds to care differently based on many factors, so it is hard to say what you will need, however, Dr. Christman understands that life is busy, so his goal is to get you feeling better as fast as possible and reduce the number of visits needed so you can spend time doing the things you love. Dr. Christman does not have you buy a “large care package” to lock in multiple visits. Usually people respond very quickly and his moto is to “get back in when YOU need it.”
