Dr. Brandyn Christman is originally from Superior, WI before his parents relocated to Rice Lake, WI. Growing up he had never been to a chiropractor nor was his family sure about chiropractic. During basketball he started to experience shooting pain down his leg and needed to see a chiropractor in town. After treatment he quickly realized the benefits of chiropractic and it change his entire perspective, quickly forming the dream of becoming a chiropractor himself.
Dr. Brandyn Christman
Dr. Brandyn went to the University of Wisconsin – Stout as well as the University of Minnesota – Duluth. During his time there he was on both the basketball and track teams. It’s safe to say that athletics have always been a part of his life. Upon graduating he attended Northwestern Health Sciences University for his doctorate in chiropractic and graduated early in 2021. His passions are treating and rehabbing sports related injuries, pregnant/postpartum mothers, and getting people back to a confident state of moving! During his time in graduate school he had the chance to grow on those passions. He completed his internships at a high volume clinic located in Minneapolis, where he kept expanding on his education with additional certifications in Webster Technique for pregnancy, SMFA movement assessments, TPI Golf, DOT physicals, soft tissue therapies and he went on to receive his CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.) His experience also includes over 200 hours of continuing education, treating over 1,000 patient cases, and running a new clinic from the ground up. After a few years, he was approached with the opportunity to purchase Hugo Chiropractic from Dr. Barrett and it was like a dream come true because he always knew the northeast suburbs were the area he wanted to build a life and raise a family.
Dr. Brandyn resides in Blaine with his wife, Carly, and their daughter, Lennon. Carly is the one who claims stakes to the northeast suburban roots. She grew up in Lino Lakes where her parents still reside and she attended Centennial High School. Their favorite parts of this area are the trail systems, the small town big city feel, and how down to earth everyone is. Brandyn and Carly are excited to grow their family and lives here for years to come. In their free time you will find them working out, hiking, going to the family cabin, fishing, or driving something motorized. Make sure to stop in and say hello to Dr. Brandyn Christman at Hugo Chiropractic Clinic.

Dr. William Barrett
Dr. Barrett has been serving Hugo and the surrounding areas for over 40 years! He was first introduced to chiropractic when he sustained an injury to his back at the age of 19, but little did he know the incredible future ahead after that injury. Dr. Barrett graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University before opening his doors in 1978, which has lead to an incredible career treating thousands of patients.
A note from Dr. Barrett:
“During the past 45 years, it has been my honor and pleasure to provide care for patients. As of June 1st, 2024, Dr. Brandyn Christman will be integrating into caring for patients at Hugo Chiropractic Clinic, and I will be staying on for a while to aid in the transition so together we continue providing all of you the same quality care you have come to know. After considerable thought and extensive searching, I believe Dr. Christman is the right person to continue our award-winning legacy of empathetic, excellent and caring chiropractic care. In addition to conditions that normally present in our office, Dr. Christman has extensive experience treating sports related injuries, auto injuries and pregnant patients. Dr. Christman will continue to provide for all the major health insurance plans. I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey of serving you through chiropractic and thank you for your friendship and loyalty. You are like family to me. The memories of providing you care will always remain in my heart.”

Jessica V., MT
Hi! I’m Jessica V. and I am the receptionist at Hugo Chiropractic with Dr. Brandyn Christman as well as a Massage therapist. Dr. Christman is kind enough to let me use one of the rooms in his office when the clinic is closed to work with my own clients.
I originally went to school at the Aveda Institute Minneapolis in 2009. I decided in 2016 to receive more clinical training, so I went to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington and received my Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Massage Therapy in 2018. Seeing someone improve and have reduced pain is incredibly rewarding and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Although I’m capable of providing a lot of pressure, I don’t subscribe to the “no pain no gain” mentality when it comes to massage therapy. I believe you should remain in the realm of “it hurts so good”.
My fiancé and I have 1 dog and 1 cat and they are our whole world. We find joy in doing just about anything together, from grocery shopping, watching T.V. to going to concerts and going on vacation. Our favorite way to vacation is cruising; we try to go on 1-2 every winter. I enjoy being active by playing sports like volleyball, going to yoga and barre classes, and walking my dog.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about me. I look forward to working with you at the clinic.

Lennon Christman
Introducing the powerhouse running the show here at Hugo Chiropractic—our 2-year-old Office Manager, Lennon. With a knack for turning every spreadsheet into a crumpled paper ball and every Zoom call into a game of peek-a-boo, she’s redefining the term “multitasker.”
When she’s not napping, she’s managing emails (aka pressing every key on the keyboard), overseeing snack distribution, and ensuring that every toy in the play area is where she prefers it to be (which is usually the floor).
Her leadership style? Demanding. Her favorite phrase? “Mine!”
Despite her very extensive experience in tantrum management and cookie negotiation, we’re confident she’ll help us run this company with a level of charisma and chaos that no one else could ever replicate, unless our second follows in her footsteps.
So, feel free to reach out to our Office Manager if you have any important questions—she might be in the middle of a nap, but she’ll get back to you eventually.
