Shoulder Pain: Rotator Cuff, Impingement & Posture—Explained
Shoulder issues often involve the rotator cuff, the biceps tendon, or poor scapular control. We assess the neck, thoracic spine, and ribs too—because they influence shoulder mechanics.
Care plan: joint adjustments (shoulder + spine), soft-tissue treatment for cuff/biceps/pecs, and exercises that restore mobility first, then strength and control.
Local reach: Patients visit from Hugo, White Bear Lake, Forest Lake, Lino Lakes, and Centerville—especially active adults and desk workers.

What shoulder problems do you treat—and how does chiropractic help?
We commonly see rotator cuff strains/tears, impingement, biceps tendon irritation, labrum-related pain, and frozen shoulder. At Hugo Chiropractic, care targets the whole chain: gentle spine/shoulder adjustments, soft-tissue/muscle work, and scapular control drills to restore mechanics and reduce pain for patients from Hugo, White Bear Lake, Forest Lake, Lino Lakes, and Centerville.
Is rehab included or do you just adjust the shoulder?
Rehab is a core part of treatment. Your plan progresses from pain-calming mobility (thoracic/rib mobility, posterior capsule stretches) to activation (rotator cuff, lower trap, serratus) and then strength & return-to-sport/work. Expect home exercises with clear sets/reps and technique cues.
How long until I can lift, reach overhead, or sleep without pain?
Timelines vary by diagnosis and workload, but many notice improvement within a few visits. Consistency with adjustments + soft-tissue + exercise progressions speeds results. We’ll also coach ergonomics, lifting technique, and side-sleep positioning so improvements last.
